Campus Building integrates solar and renewable energy

Updated: Sep 2, 2021

Not only is One Health focused on improving the health and well-being of patients, we’re also striving to be more eco-conscious to improve the overall health and sustainability of our communities.

One Health’s new Campus building in Hardin seeks to incorporate high performance, energy-efficient products and design to reduce our energy footprint. In fact, the Campus building system’s are expected to use over 50% less energy than a comparable building built to code.

The solar photovoltaic ("PV") panels we placed on the roof convert sunlight into electricity, helping to reduce our monthly utility bills. Year to date in 2021, we’ve saved $2615.23 on our utility bills from solar energy alone! If you want to learn more about solar and renewable energy, visit montanarenewables.org.
